Refund Policy

This Booking Agreement is entered into between Eva Lèon Couture and the client. By paying a deposit, booking a fitting, or proceeding with a hire or purchase, the client agrees to the terms outlined below.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a dress and fitting appointment. The deposit confirms the booking and covers administrative and preparation costs and will be deducted from the final balance if the booking proceeds. Once a booking is confirmed, the dress and appointment time are reserved exclusively for the client. Refunds or exchanges are not offered for change of mind, including changes in preference, sizing, event arrangements, or choosing an alternative dress elsewhere. This applies to both hire and purchase dresses, as permitted under Australian Consumer Law.

For hire bookings, cancellations made more than sixty (60) days prior to the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit only. Cancellations made within sixty (60) days of the event will incur a charge of fifty percent (50%) of the hire fee. Cancellations made within thirty (30) days of the event will incur a charge of one hundred percent (100%) of the hire fee. These charges reflect the limited availability of dresses and the inability to rebook cancelled dates.

Purchased dresses are final sale. Custom or made-to-order dresses cannot be refunded or exchanged for change of mind. Alteration fees are non-refundable once work has commenced, and minor fitting adjustments are not considered faults. Hire dresses must be returned on time and in the agreed condition. A bond may be required and will be refunded after inspection. Damage, excessive soiling, or late returns may result in deductions from the bond or additional charges.

All goods and services provided by Eva Lèon Couture come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. The client is entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where a dress has a major fault, is significantly different from what was agreed, or where services were not provided with due care and skill. Any faults must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours of collection or purchase.

If an event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the client’s control, such as a school or venue cancellation, a credit may be offered at the discretion of Eva Lèon Couture, valid for twelve (12) months. This credit is not a refund under Australian Consumer Law.
